The wedding of Avis and Wayne was a very simple but fragrant one. We came to Butterfield’s for reception right after the morning session started at 9:30 in the hotel. Congratulations to this wonderful couple! I do hope they would love the pictures and find them memorable.

I knew Ivan when I photographed the wedding of Becky and Francis last year.
Ivan was Francis’ groomsman and he asked me to be his wedding photographer after Francis’ wedding. I really thank for his trust in me. I started shooting at Royal Park Hotel Hong Kong in their big day.

They booked my service just three months ago. We talked a lot of things in the meeting before their big day, not only about the photos, but also other wedding-related matters.
Thank God that it was a sunny day! I’d been worried of bad weather… The party was a small scale one. All guests were having the happy and relaxing moments with the couple. I loved this party very much!
Wedding ceremony and reception: Spasso Italian Bar & Restaurant @ Harbour City
About the above shot, I waited for more than an hour for the right moment. Once the time was right, I urged them to give me a 3-minute timeslot. The mood of this photo was good!

Bill the groom.
The live band is also in preparation.
Smiling face, shines all the day.

Their performance is gorgeous!

Congratulations to the newlywed!

We’ve never met each other until their wedding day. I appreciate their trust in me. Not only the bride and groom are very friendly, but their parents are also really nice, especially Sharon’s mom, who treated me like her family member. I could feel the love to their single daughter when I made the childhood slide-show.
I did not feel like doing a job, but to participate a wedding of a friend or a family member. Thank you Sharon and John, and your parents, you all brought me a marvellous and special day.
Church: Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church
Reception: JW Mariott Hotel Hong Kong
This photo was shot right after ring exchange session. The priest was praying for the newlywed. It is my favourite shot of the day and shot by available light.

Before going up to the bride’s room, we were having some fun at the lobby.
Sharon’s mom, a tender-hearted mom.
Long waiting for your bride, right?
After the church ceremony, Sharon’s mom had some touch up. Another favourite shot of the day.
John’s having a speech, the bride seemed very delighted.
May Sharon and John be on the road to a happy and wonderful life together forever!

This was my first time to join an afternoon wedding banquet at 12 noon. Yes, it’s a traditional Chinese banquet, not a cocktail party. It’s simple but special. I could finish the job at 3 pm. So to speak, we had to advance the time of every process of their big day – I arrived at Angel’s home early at 6 am. The banquet was held in The Grand Stage. This shot was taken just after the banquet.

Make-up at 6:30am.
Waiting for marching in at the upper deck of the reception place.
A live-band performance. They are Angel’s brother’s friends. Simply gorgeous!
Photos taken at The Grand Stage.
Congratulations to Angel and Patrick.

Carmen and Jason booked my service more than a year ago but we’ve never met each other until their big day. I deeply appreciate their trust and confidence in me. Frankly I felt quite disappointed that the time was too rush for us to take photos at the hotel. Anyway I hope they would love the pictures and find them memorable.
Reception: Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel
Getting prepared in the hotel. Wondering who she is? Yes, she is the bride!
I love this room very much – big window with directional light.
The one on the right-hand side is Carmen’s sister.
The time was tight. We spent almost an hour to shoot at the hotel nearby.
They enjoyed very much watching the same day edit video. When the banquet was over, Jason told me that Carmen was nervous about the photos. No worry. I’m going to show them all ASAP!
Congratulations again. May all your days be filled with love and joy!

The weather was so good. The game in morning was really funny but I’m not going to post the groom’s comic face on this page… you know why, Simon? Haha! They had registration at the evening so we could have an outdoor-shooting session in Central in the afternoon.

Simon’s mom, a very young lady.
Simon’s family member. What an unforgettable smiling face.
45-minute photo taking.
Congratulations to the newly wed!

Becky and Francis booked my service a year ago. Their wedding was fragrant and well-prepared. Francis is very gentle while his bride is an extrovert girl. During the day Becky seemed quite relaxed. I am grateful to be part of their big day. May the newly-wed be on the road to a blessed life together!
Church registration: Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church

Francis, what a funny tongue you have!

Francis’ elder family member blessed them with a verse in the Bible instead of traditional Chinese greetings. So lovely.

A 15-minute shooting session after the ceremony.

Outside the church.

A pub in Star Street. I forgot what they were doing (playing?) at this moment.

They were busy all night long in the banquet. I urged them to squeeze some time for me.

Congratulations to the newly wed!
